In good weather, you’ll have the outside living and the pool. The beautiful and famous town of Saint Emilion is nearby (5 minutes drives) and almost as close is Libourne a charming, quirky town which has excellent train service into big beautiful Bordeaux. A car IS necessary as you are truly out in the middle of countryside, aka in the midst of some of the best vineyards in the world.
