Biggest Pluses: Stunning scenery all around you, and village, town and big city pleasure easily reached.
About the locale: The area around Saint Emilion has a reasonable claim on being one of the most beautiful in France (and that is saying something!) Saint Emilion is a jewel of a town (very discovered by tourists) and this local is about a 5 minute drive outside that town and smack dab in the middle of some of the best vineyards in the world. Add to that, you're nearly as close to Libourne, and an easy train ride from there to Bordeaux

Description

This is a comfortable apartment of 60 sq. meters, that would work for two single travelers, or two couples. In the mild weather of spring and fall, the large outdoor space will push it from ‘fine’ to fantastic. The large living room opens via two French doors onto the garden and swimming pool (Fenced in for the safety of children) The price is excellent, the French owners are friendly and Monsieur speaks good English. In good weather, you’ll have the outside living and the pool. The beautiful and famous town of Saint Emilion is nearby (5 minutes drives) and almost as close is Libourne a charming, quirky town which has excellent train service into big beautiful Bordeaux. A car IS necessary as you are truly out in the middle of countryside, aka in the midst of some of the best vineyards in the world.

Spring season is roughly from Feb 1 through April 15th. Fall season is roughly Sept 15th through November 15th. We specifically look for property availability in the non-peak season, when owners/managers can offer considerably lower prices
Length of time *
(Longer stays are defined as always more than 30 days and less than 90) Our longer stays are, at a maximum 88 days. The 88 days (vs. 90) is because for many non-EU visitors, 90 days is the maximum stay allowed, and both the travel days to and from France are included in the count, ergo, you would only be staying in the accommodation a maximum of 88 days.
