Peculiarities
If you plan to not have a car, you'll need to know that the last five minutes walk from town (no more than 10 -15 minutes) center is uphill on a narrow road without sidewalks. It's do-able but one needs to be mindful.
About the locale: Vence is a large town, less than 40 minutes from the Nice airport, with easy access to the sea and the Alps, a busy, beautiful French town with a generous amount of artists and transplanted internationals.
